The new Bishop Of Peterborough, Debbie Sellin visited the historic Chapel and almshouse charity at St John and St Annes recently.
She visited some residents in their homes and had afternoon tea with many other residents, Bishop Debbie highlighted what was evident was the quality of the independent homes that residents lived in, how happy they were and what a strong and caring community feel there was. Residents told her how they enjoyed living here and having such a beautiful historic Chapel in their grounds. Bishop Debbie was presented with a St John and St Annes Charity Shield by the Chair of the Board, Geoff Thompson.
